Arranged by Heather Downie. A steady traditional Scottish jig in D major. Despite its name, this piece bounces along with a lovely flow. The melody is the trickiest part of this arrangement, with lots of flowing quavers (eighth notes). But you can take it nice and slowly and the piece is still effective. The left-hand is mainly 3rds and 5ths with two triads in the second part. There are some more challenging rhythms in the arrangement which bring interest to the music – I hope you enjoy playing it!This arrangement is suitable for lever or pedal harp and is late beginner level. The piece is arranged in D major and there are no lever or pedal changes. The PDF download includes the sheet music with suggested fingering and brackets, and without.
