About Heather

Heather Downie is a harpist, vocalist and educator from Scotland. She has spent over twenty years performing, touring and recording, and she cares just as much about the feeling in the music as the notes themselves.

Her passion for music is matched only by her passion for people, and that is exactly where her love of teaching comes from.
